Our Story

Anyone who has children knows they are a constant source of inspiration and motivation. Like so many others, my daughter Gianna is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. We have adjusted our eating habits and overall lifestyle to ensure a safe environment for her. However, managing this allergy outside of our home can be stressful and frustrating. This has meant missing out on cupcakes, cakes, and other treats at birthday parties and other special occasions because they are normally store bought. Although a particular store bought treat may not contain peanuts or tree nuts, it is still off limits because it is made in the same space as items that do contain peanuts or tree nuts.

This predicament got me making more homemade baked goods to take places where I knew a safe nut free alternative would not be available. All the trips to grandma’s house made homemade baked goods a natural choice for my mom as well. Together we decided to offer our cupcakes and cookies for sale because we recognize how common this type of allergy has become and think no one should miss out on the fun.
